Global Mourning - Global Awakening

moving into our heart to heal our nature

This past weekend a group of artists created a personal public space in which we invited people to express their feelings about global warming. Write, draw, sing, dance or quietly reflect on your feelings. We'd like to hear your thoughts.

The artists who developed this installation believe that if we are going to have a harmonious and mutually beneficial relationship with ourselves and our planet, we need to first understand how we feel about climate change. Moving into our heart, we can get in touch with our emotional response to climate change. We believe that once we sort out those emotions, each one of us begin a deeper process of transformation that will ultimately heal our connection to the natural world. We shouldn’t just despair over our losses, but we should acknowledge them with our heart, so that more loving solutions for living on this planet can be created.
